This update introduces brand new weapon attachments. There will be constant balancing on their pricing and advantages (ie. percentages, perks) throughout the next days.

GAME 1.1.13

This update focuses mainly on the current performance issues with the game client.

Overall Bug Fixes/Features

  • Fixed an issue where an empty clip would cause a desync with the client/server and would not let you reload.
  • The game client now loads/unloads certain sections of the map in between phases for better performance.
  • FPS optimization for lower/mid end PC’s.
  • Your computer will now use recommended settings the first time the game client is loaded. You can always roll back to these settings in the options menu.


  • Integrated “skirmish” option for private games. In order to get a skirmish going, create two parties of the same size (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5) and invite the opposing party leader to a skirmish. Game will start upon confirmation of all users.
  • Added “Create Account” button to login screen.
  • Added Official “Discord” link to login screen.
  • Revamped the UX for Battlepass features. You can now see the preview for the skins you may claim.
  • Friend list overhaul. You will now be able to see more friends without having to scroll up/down.

  • Movement Speed Multiplier and Armor Pen values are now more distinct between each type of Weapon class. This should help to better define the roles of each category.
    • Rifles are generally slower but have more Armor Pen
    • Glock and USP have the least Armor Pen but are quick. Deagle is the exception and will feel more like a heavy SMG
    • SMGs are in between Pistols and Rifles for both Movement Speed and Armor Pen
    • Barrett sniper rifle is now a one-shot kill above the waist – with and without armor. Overall movement has been reduced while equipped.

This update addresses the in-game stuttering issue that has been problematic for the last two updates.

Developer Comments: We’re moving towards a more minimalist HUD design. Slight overall improvements that should impact the user experience.

2. Gameplay

  • Unstable connection should no longer reset the forced game start timer
  • Forced respawn at game start should no longer leave weapons floating in the air
  • An issue that would rarely prevent players from respawning has been fixed
  • Changed landing point placements to more closely match actual landing pad positions
  • Changed capture point collision to more closely match ribbon visuals
  • Fixed an issue causing the default glock to become hidden for other players after the round has been reset

Developer Comments: We decided to fully redesign our red dot which provides the user with a much cleaner view. We will be closely monitoring the testers’ feedback for it in the upcoming playtests.

  • Loading screen is now properly displayed when all players have joined the match.
  • Fixed null references preventing the first clip of a glock
  • Removed unused actors causing excessive FPS drops
  • Moved some spawn points to prevent wall collision
  • Force a second spawn before end of countdown to fix wrong ally/enemy visual states.

Developer Comments: Major update in term of frames per second. We have noticed an increase from 20 to 35 fps with all our of our test builds.

  • Rearranged different sections placement and size

1. HUD

  • In-Game Shop has been updated to correctly calculate the price of the weapon chosen along with its attachments
  • The price color for affordable (orange) and unaffordable (red) items has been updated to show correctly
  • If you already own a weapon with attachments when opening the buy menu, it will now be selected along with its attachments
  • If you buy a cheaper weapon while already owning a more expensive one, you will be refunded half the price of your original buy

Developer Comments: These are the major points that have been fixed but there have also been a lot of minor corrections not listed above.

2. Ambiance sound improvements

  • A sound track has been added in the background during lobby waiting period

Developer Comments: During the Alpha & Beta development, a lot of sound improvements will be added to the game which will improve the overall feeling of the game and help your situational awareness.

3. Guns

  • Now you start the first round with a Glock Pistol equipped
  • The iron sight for the Barret Sniper Rifle and the Glock Pistol have been calibrated

Developer Comments: Community and streamer partner feedback was taken into consideration for the starting weapon. When only holding a primary weapon, having to reload it would cause a competitive imbalance due to not having a secondary weapon to switch to in the heat of the moment.

4. Game Modes

  • We addressed some major issues in the game mode which used to slow the general loading of the game, therefore improving the loading time

  • Changed the font of teammates list/health bar to match other HUD aspects

Developer Comments: You can now see how many players are left on your team and on the enemy team. Although the visual aspects will most likely be altered in the future, you can now rely on immediate HUD feedback to know if, per example, you are the only player left on your team and have to activate your inner “cluch mode”.

2. General sound improvements

  • Limited the number of bullet firing instances at any given time
  • Limited the number of bullets flying by at any given time
  • Adjusted the sound levels of bullets hitting materials and players
  • Implemented 3D sounds for bullets firing
  • Implemented 3D sounds for bullets landing in the surroundings (or hitting you)

Developer Comments: This patch implements and addresses the issues with the past build in which too many gun-related sounds were heard from inappropriate surroundings of the player. It is now much easier to identify where shots are coming from.

3. Guns

  • Optimized overall damage for UMP sub machine gun
  • Optimized overall damage for Barrett sniper rifle
  • Fixed bug where player’s hand would incorrectly show up when scoped

Developer Comments: Community and streamer partner feedback was taken into consideration for the UMP’s base damage. It is now much easier to eliminate opponents with it. Our flagship sniper rifle is now a one shot kill in the head/chest.

1. Game launcher

  • You can only launch a single instance of the launcher now

Developer Comments: the fact that a user could have 2 launchers running at the same time was the cause of multiple matchmaking related bugs such as the game process launching twice.

2. Friend list

  • Online/offline detection should now be more accurate
  • Inviting someone to your party will now prompt a confirmation for them
  • Fixed bug that would leave you stuck in the notification zone when declining a friend request

Developer Comments: online/offline detection is still a work in progress, but for the most part it should be way easier to determine if one of your friend is online and open for your invite.

A new patch is now live for the Friday playtest. Read below to learn more about the latest changes.


Version : 00.00.01 PA9.0

1. User setting menu

  • Players can now customize their in game settings to adjust quality and frames per seconds (FPS).

Developer Comments: For now it will be possible to change your in game settings. However, the amount of settings is limited for the time being.

2. Scoping visual improvement

  • Fixed M4 visual issues when using any scope attachments.
  • Changed all aim down sight (ADS) animations to fix a snapping effect when blending with the running state.
  • Reworked the iron sight of the Famas and the P90.

Developer Comments: This is definitely not the final version, but these changes give a better feeling of movement.

3. General sound improvement

  • Volume of player movement has been reduced (footsteps).
  • Removed the bullet sounds for the moment. (Directional audio not implemented)
  • Added hit registration sound.

Developer Comments: The sound of bullets was more confusing than useful due to it’s unpolished state. It will come back in a later patch.

4. User interface

  • Trying a new way to notify the player when being shot.
  • Added a debug menu to fix some known bugs.
  • Add a kill confirmation HUD element.
  • Add a death screen.
  • Improved the visual quality of the kill feed.
  • New compass added.
  • Reworked the HUD when capturing the point.

Developer Comments: Trying many visual changes to optimize player experience. Player feedback will determine which features will stay, be modified, or be removed.

5. Gameplay

  • It’s now impossible to enter the arena without a gun.

1. First implementation of the real launcher

  • Players can now enter with their real user account.
  • Added basic automatic matchmaking functionality.
  • The friends list is now functional.
